Emma and Hilary come together to launch Third Approach
Mount Anvil Ltd ask Hilary to join their Exec Team, as People Director, to shape the team and business for succession and significant business growth. During this time she also becomes certified in Systemic Team Coaching, and an ICF accredited coach with ORSC.
Emma works with Aspen Reinsurance to help establish their HR strategy and services globally including the design and implementation of their diversity & inclusion strategy
Northern Trust ask Emma to set up a new centre of expertise in HR for delivering Organisation Design, Development and Employee Engagement services. Emma is responsible for the employee engagement strategy and implementation globally for 15,000 employees as well as establishing the organisations approach to organisation design and development
Hilary joins the international luxury brand Berry Bros & Rudd, to become the Group HR Director, sitting on the Exec Board and covering businesses in Europe, Asia & the US. Leading organisation design and development projects to maximise performance internationally. She leads a culture change programme and is a key member of the Steering Group for the Group transformational change project. She is educated by INSEAD in Business Strategy for HR Leaders.
Whilst at Northern Trust Emma is asked to set up a new function within HR to support the business in acquisitions, entries into new countries globally, and winning/onboarding outsourced investment administration which involves complex 1st generation and 2nd generation TUPEs across Europe
With commercial HR experience, Hilary moves to Hampshire Country Council to lead the transformational reward project in PBRS, along with providing strategic HR direction to functional heads. She gains valuable experience of working with Trade Unions.
Emma joins Northern Trust to head up the EMEA HR Business Partnering team and is also responsible for HR activities around TUPE/insourcing
Emma joins HSBC as an interim change specialist focusing initially on the integration of the acquisition of the Bank of Bermuda, several TUPEs and then the HR lead for the set up of Securities Services in Kolkata, India and the expansion of Global Custody in Manilla.
Hilary moves into a Commercial HR Managers role at Twinings. She is responsible for providing strategic and operational HR, and forms part of the Intl HRM team. She is selected for the ABF Talent Development programme for Senior Managers, and becomes licensed to use MBTI step II, and SHL / CEB OPQ psychometrics
Emma joins Gartmore Investment Management where she plays a key role in the outsourcing of their Investment Administration to HSBC
Hilary leaves university and starts her career by setting up the South-Central HR function for Enterprise Rent-A-Car
